Right, so this story really does underline just how much credibility the US and the Biden administration are losing their clout on the global stage over what is going on in the Middle East and that this extends beyond that region, it’s becoming a global issue for America, because for as much as the US are getting rinsed for basically being Israel’s biggest cheerleaders, they are still going around acting like they are the planet police for peace and prosperity, despite actually being the leading cause of anything but and to that end, they’ve been given short shrift in no uncertain terms in Africa, for trying to lay down the law to one nation there as to who they can and cannot do deals with themselves. Well with the US arming Israel and keeping the genocide in Gaza going, the Africans were having none of it, and they’ve just thrown the US army out on their ear, but to listen to mainstream sources, you’d think it was all Russia’s fault.
Right, so the US are getting chucked out of a West African nation and the way most media are telling it, it’s all down to Russian interference, but if you listen to what the actual government concerned have to say, they tell a slightly different story.
We are in Niger, you don’t hear much about Niger in the news do you? But the US have given them major beef and they aren’t having a bar it. Following on from the events of 9/11, there was of course the war on terror, pursuing bin-Laden, Al-Qaeda, which rose to prominence following the deposing of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, then ISIL, but later on after they were largely routed in the Middle East, they found strongholds in northern and western Africa, the removal of Gaddafi in Libya for example, led to a power vacuum which terrorist elements soon filled, but equally the instability in many West African nations enabled them to take root their too and so by 2013, the US established a deployment of troops, around 100 of them to start with, but this has since grown to nearly 1000, in order to deal with Isil and Al-Qaeda groups that were terrorising the region and were basing themselves out of a region called The Sahel, which is like a belt across northern Africa, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean all the way to the Red Sea, and is basically the boundary between the Sahara Desert and green more tropical equatorial regions further south.
Co-operation to eliminate terrorist threats in Niger, by terrorist groups displaced from the Middle East, this should have been win-win situation for both. Niger had US troops on able to deal with these groups who were killing their people now and the US had a base from which to conduct further missions to deal with these groups for good. OK, fine. As long as that is actually what happens. Well, the accusation now, is that it hasn’t. That the US have not dealt with these groups properly, adequately, yet maintain a presence in Niger, without living up to their side of the bargain. You can understand they might be a bit aggrieved about that.
Now despite the US presence, and what hasn’t helped the US position certainly, is the fact that they apparently were sat on their hands whilst a military coup took place in Niger last year, which deposed the socialist and first ever Arab leader of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum. I daresay the ousting of a socialist wasn’t something the US were going to cry much over, so you might wonder if they chose to let this happen or were they slacking off so much they just didn’t notice? Whatever the truth of the matter, things have blown up in their faces somewhat, as the military takeover and the self proclaimed President of the National Council for the Safeguard of the Homeland, bit of a mouthful, Abdourahamane Tchiani. At this point the US appeared to notice something had changed, didn’t it seems like the idea of a military takeover, they don’t have a long history of being good news, not to mention there’s nothing democratic about them of course and chose to freeze security support and their counter terrorism activities. The new Nigerien administration then decided to cut all diplomatic ties off to the US, then come last month, Niger demanded all US troops leave the country now as well. Throw them out and if the mainstream are to be believed, they’re now going to be replaced by Russia. A Putin plot no doubt! It has a lot more to do with the fact the US had withdrawn their security and counter-terrorism duties, yet still chose to remain in the country, despite that literally being the reason they were allowed to stay there. That is the extent of most mainstream coverage of why Niger are throwing out the US, but it isn’t all of it. Despite essentially squatting in their country at this point, the Biden administration, were still trying to dictate who the new administration of Niger, could open up diplomatic ties with. We’ve seen this before. The US saying if you talk to them I won’t be your best friend, its playground stuff, but when Niger are getting no benefit from you being in their country any more AND you’re trying to tell them who they can have relations with instead, it isn’t going to wash. BUT, it isn’t Russia that are the issue here, it isn’t Russia the US have apparently been warning Niger off over, that’s just a very convenient narrative for the media to cover, because it is very easy and very popular to hate Russia, hate Putin, but when the truth drags us back to the Middle East again, all of a sudden it becomes much less clear cut. You see it isn’t JUST Niger talking to Russia that has given Biden and Co so much consternation, it is because Niger is talking to Iran too. Amazing that so many media outlets can mention Russia but not Iran.
Iran of course are opposed to Israel, not least because they are aiding for example the Houthis in Yemen and their blockade of the Red Sea, but of course Israel attacked their embassy in Syria and retaliation was meted out, the US shot down drones and missiles from Iran flying through Iraqi airspace, coming to Israel’s aid. Niger are not pro Israel, they had bilateral relations up until 2002 before they were terminated, Niger has for a long time viewed Israel and Palestine in exactly the same light as apartheid South Africa, they voted yes in the famous 1975 UN resolution which determined that Zionism is a form of racism and their views since have not shifted. Now it seems allying themselves with a more proactive opponent of the Zionist regime really does have the US in a flap, but the US support for Israel given what has happened for the last 7 months, well, I wouldn’t want you on my doorstep either! Here’s an excerpt from Iranian media outlet Press TV, which quotes an article from the Washington Post, however the US outlet of course was one that omitted to mention Iran:
‘Niger’s prime minister says the termination of military cooperation and bilateral relations between his country and the United States was due to American threats and Washington’s opposition to the African nation's partnership with Iran and Russia.
Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine told The Washington Post in an interview published on Tuesday that the US had tried to dictate what countries Niamey can have close relations with and had not justified its military presence in the West African country.
Underlining the US failure to combat terrorism in Niger and the Sahel region for a decade, Zeine said, “The Americans stayed on our soil, doing nothing while the terrorists killed people and burned towns. It is not a sign of friendship to come on our soil but let the terrorists attack us.”
Zeine said the United States' tone and behaviour toward Nigerien officials were the “primary reason” for the broken relations.
The Nigerien prime minister criticized US officials’ call on Niamey not to engage closely with Iran and Russia as they were two of Washington’s adversaries.
Zeine said he had been given an ultimatum by the US administration to have security with Washington or be close to Tehran and Moscow.’
If you go off with Russia and Iran we can’t be friends anymore threaten the US and Niger basically say, well go home then. It’s like Nelson Mandela said:
‘One of the mistakes, which some political analysts make, is to think that their enemies should be our enemies.’
It’s one more in a growing list of examples of the US being on the wrong side of global consensus right now and again showing that actually more and more countries are growing not just fed up with them, but no longer fear them either. The US failed to do what was asked of them, they had a position in West Africa no doubt for their own ends as well, Israel is their foothold in the Middle East and why they are so devoted to them, is for that reason, but with Niger having this ongoing issue with national security amidst remnants of Al-Qaeda and ISIL still active, if the US can’t do the job they promised, yet are arrogant and entitled enough to try to dictate domestic policy to you when in your country, then they aren’t much of a friend. This appears to be the position of the Nigerien government right now, this is the point they’ve reached and the US are being thrown out over it and frankly with their immovable attitude regarding Israel, regarding Iran and Russia and by all means this isn’t a video extolling those countries virtues, there absolutely are plenty of reasons to criticise them, however no matter which way you look at this, the US have again only got themselves to blame for what has happened in Niger and you have to wonder, well who is it going to be next? How many more diplomatic crashes are there going to be, because of Israel, because fundamentally, this fall out, this cut off of diplomatic and military ties now, all comes down to the US placing their Israel relationship above their relationships with others.
And yet despite attacking Iran and Niger considering entering into diplomatic talks with the theocracy, the US has actually been begging them for another favour and AGAIN it all comes down to helping Israel, even as the genocide rolls on, the brass neck of them is crazy, find out all about that story in this video here and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. I must begin by explaining the meaning of barter in the context of this article, as it is drastically different than the concept of bartering a good for a good or a service for a service as an alternative to the exchange of money.

On the other hand, I must also clarify that the Arab-Israeli conflict is still ongoing, and will remain so in the eyes of the masses as long as the rights of the Palestinian people have not been restored, regardless of the power equations or the official Arab positions regarding these rights. This dimension is absent from the Israeli analyses. Their perspective of the conflict relies on the balance of power between them and the Arab armies; they look at the conflict from a military point of view. Moreover, Washington continues to insist that Israeli military capabilities must outweigh all of the Arab capabilities, even though Washington knows very well that the plan to destroy the few Arab armies involved in the conflict began when the Palestinian armed resistance was undermined after the invasion of Beirut in 1982, after Ariel Sharon stopped the martyrdom operations, which had made up for the strategic imbalance of military capabilities, and after Iraq's involvement in a series of events, beginning with the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, and ending with the occupation of Iraq in 2003, the destruction of its army, and the fragmentation of its people. This opened the door to the fierce sectarian war aimed at division, war, and irrational regional interventions, which deepen the wounds and contribute to pushing Iraq into the condition desired by its enemies. The destruction of Arab armies continued with the destruction of most of the Syrian army, the total destruction of the Libyan army, the exhaustion and fragmentation of the Yemeni army, and finally, impacting the Egyptian army, which now divides its power between preserving security and combating terrorism.

I would like to emphasise that the conflict between the Arabs and Israel is a conflict between the Arabs and the Zionist movement, but official literature now tends to consider the conflict to have shifted to an Israeli-Palestinian conflict, meaning the Palestinians, without their Arab supporters, on one side, while Israel, with its supporters, allies and the Zionist movement are on the other.

Due to the constant deterioration of the Arab situation, which Israel undoubtedly contributed to, the policy of bartering has emerged, i.e. providing one thing in exchange for another; however, established Arab rights are being bartered, such as security in exchange for freedom, even though the people need both. They are both the people's rights, and they should not have to choose one over the other, i.e. giving up their freedom in exchange for their security. This highlights the relationship between the theory of international conflict, which is concerned with interests and power, and the theory of international ethics, which includes law, justice and other aspects of public morals.

The bartering policy started when the UN Security Council Resolution 242 was issued in 1967. This resolution linked Israel's withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories to the recognition of Israel and normalisation with it. Although the preamble to the resolution emphasises the illegality of seizing territory by force, the resolution did not translate this concept in its paragraphs in order to avoid categorising Israel's actions as aggressive. However, during the Iraq-Kuwait crisis, UN resolution 660, issued in 1990, considers Iraq's invasion of Kuwait as aggressive and requiring an immediate and unconditional withdrawal. In 1978, Israel occupied southern Lebanon, and conditioned its withdrawal on the expulsion of the Palestinian resistance from Lebanon. This, however, did not occur until Israel occupied Beirut and expelled the resistance, only withdrawing from Beirut after committing the Sabra and Shatila massacres against the Palestinians.

We are able to analyse and track the application of the bartering policy that Israel insists the Palestinians employ, bearing in mind that the settlements are always factored into the exchange. In 1956, Israel occupied the entire area of Sinai, and then withdrew in exchange for allowing the passage of Israeli ships in the Gulf of Aqaba. We can also follow the application of this policy in the Egyptian-Israeli relations, which is at the core of the Arab-Israeli conflict. At present, the Palestinians are paying the price for the mistakes of Egypt and the other Arab countries opposing Israel, when Egypt, who was victorious in the 1973 war, unilaterally accepted the reclamation of Sinai in exchange for being burdened with a number of restrictions, the least of which was the security stipulation that keeps the Egyptian army over 200 km away from Israel in exchange for a three party relation between Egypt, Israel, and the US. This fundamental issue may have been one of the most important declines that resulted from the bartering policy, i.e. choosing between inalienable rights and relinquishing some of them in exchange for aspects of other rights.

At the moment, and due to the deterioration of the Palestinian arena and the rise of the Israeli power, which allows Israel to single out the Palestinians and fragment Arab cohesion, Israel's insistence on the settlements as something to barter over reflects this miserable reality. This was apparent during the most recent negotiations; which Washington hopes will result in a diplomatic achievement at the expense of the Palestinians. The constant excuse used by those bartering is the polite alternative to the word "concede". Israel insists on bartering the release of the Palestinian prisoners who were kidnapped from their homes and detained by Israel, by virtue of its control over the Palestinian territories, in return for the Palestinians' acceptance of Israel's illegal settlement policy on their land. Moreover, Israel insists on controlling all of Jerusalem in exchange for the Palestinians' agreement to divide East Jerusalem's population between the Arabs and Jews and for Israel to allow whichever religious people to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is a very dangerous development, especially since Israel has distracted the Arabs from the issue of Jerusalem. We also know that since 1948, Israel has detained about 30 per cent of the Palestinian people and almost completely occupies the Palestinian territories, and in the least controls them.

This means that Israel is improving while the Palestinians are declining. Meanwhile, the surrounding Arabs are preoccupied while the Zionist project is thriving. Therefore, I would like to stress, once more, that by peace, Israel means the preservation of Jewish interests and Zionist domination; and by negotiations, Israel means finding a Palestinian party that can solidify this reality. We also know that, although it seems to be the will of the Palestinian people, the preservation of the Palestinian Authority (PA) is Israel's will, and the Oslo Accords, which established the PA, was one of the greatest blows to the Palestinian resistance, and even led to the taming of the PA. Therefore, Israel dictates the prolongation of the PA's power in accordance with its ability to help Israel with its plans rather than confront them.

I would like to do away with a delusion that has settled in the minds of the Arabs, that peace with Israel is better than conflict or that the Arabs are not capable of handling the costs of the conflict and that conflict is useless given the current conditions of the Arab forces. Therefore, the Arabs in the Arab Summit in 2002 adopted the Arab peace plan, which is yet another application of the concepts of settlement by means of bartering, based on the recognition and normalisation of relations with Israel at the expense of Israel's recognition of the Palestinians' legitimate rights. However, Israel views the initiative as a means for others to gain recognition and normalisation without fulfilling their obligations. It is worth noting that under normal circumstances, recognition and normalisation is a sovereign right of independent Arab states, and is not used to buy another right, i.e. the right of the Palestinian people to have an independent state on its land with Jerusalem as its capital. However, the initiative contradicts with Israel's desire to gain recognition and take over the Palestinian territories at the same time, which is what Israel seeks in the current negotiations.

I would like to warn that negotiations with Israel cannot be productive unless Israel decides it is ready to stop its Zionist project at a certain point and does not seize all of the Palestinian territories. Therefore, it is the duty of the Arabs not to participate in the determination of the Palestinians' fate in this way, and that if they are unable to support the Palestinian negotiator, who is now at his lowest, then the least they can do is support the Palestinian people by rejecting all forms of Judaisation and settlement. They must also help empower the Palestinian forces as resistance is only one means of pressure, and diplomacy is another, keeping in mind that the forms of insisting on the rights of the Palestinians are unlimited.

Brian S Staveley has been a podcast host and content creator since 2010. His initial awakening journey into the many lies of this realm started with 9/11 like so many others. Brian's journey took a different turn than most when quickly coming to the realization that media fakery was the key aspect of 9/11 and that the large majority of the "truth movement" and it's "leaders" were put in place to actually reinforce the lies and keep the entire population in endless fear based off fabrications.

Students Fear A Second 9/11 After Biden's Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal

Saturday marks 20-year anniversary of 9/11 and America faces revived concerns of terrorism now that the Taliban has retaken control of Afghanistan. Ushering in a new government, the Taliban has also seized billions of dollars in American military equipment left behind by the Biden administration, including helicopters, armored vehicles, weapons and ammunition.

After President Biden left Americans stranded, reports have surfaced that the Taliban has taken many of them hostage.

Campus Reform's Addison Smith went to Georgetown University to ask students if these events make them worried about another terrorist attack on American soil due to the rise of the Taliban.

Many students did tell Smith that they are now more concerned about another terrorist attack on America.

"I am [worried], I actually am. That's what happened last time they let Osama Bin Laden be out there", one student said.

"Absolutely. I mean, mostly because of the equipment we have left there... security has come a long way," another expressed. "But at the same time, I don't think it's enough."

One student suggested that, "[The Afghanistan crisis] poses one of the greatest threats that the United States have faced since 9/11."
